Wuthering Waves
Simulacrum of the Heart
Chapter IV · Act IV
01 · Xuanfang
The Moon Fox Is Fading
As the Waking Moon Festival approaches, strange rumours spread throughout Xuanfang. Some claim the Hold has fulfilled its purpose and will soon collapse.
More troublingly, Hsin has become increasingly absent. Even Qingxiao can barely sense the Moon Fox anymore.
02 · The Ministry
An Old Covenant
Suoming arrives carrying a Vermillion Lock containing the unmistakable frequency of Hsin the Moon Fox.
The token represents an old covenant—one whose time has finally come.
Rover and Suoming enter the Sanctum.
The truth begins to surface
The Hsin who protected Xuanfang was not the original Moon Fox.
The Sentinel who watched over Xuanfang for the past century was a Fractal Form, created from the original Hsin during a crisis.
She inherited the Moon Fox's memories and mission—but developed a heart of Her own.
05 · A New Path
What Makes a Sentinel?
Hsin had spent a century measuring Herself against the Sentinel who created Her.
Yet the experiences that made Her different were what allowed Her to become something new.
